Ky-Mani
Ky-Mani Marley, one of the best-known and wealthiest Reggae Singers was born on February 26, 1976 in Falmouth Jamaica. In the classic cult movie Shottas the actor starred alongside Wyclef. Ky-Mani got signed to Shang Records in 1996 where the first album he put out was like Father Like Son. He also recorded several singles, including Judge Not with Patra and Dear Dad (which reached the top of the British Reggae Charts) and Who The Cap Fit Remix, and Sensimelia. All of these songs contributed to the rising popularity of Ky among the younger generation of reggae musicians. Ky-Mani collaborated with Praswell of Fugees on Avenue in 1997, which was an incredibly successful cover of Eddy Grant's Electric Avenue. Marley became the first musician to appear in Midem in Miami the world's largest showcase of musical talent.
